You can mix and match modes, color themes, and texture opacity in Arch Calendar to give your interface the look you want.

Go to Settings → Theme to manage all theme settings. Changes are reflected in the live preview at the top of the page.

Mode

Choose from Dark, Light, or Auto.

  • Dark — A dark background. Great for reducing eye strain or working in dim environments.

  • Light — A bright background. Offers better readability in well-lit settings.

  • Auto — Automatically switches between Dark and Light based on your device's system settings (macOS, Windows, etc.).

Color Theme

Pick from six color themes: Gray, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple, and Pink. The color theme changes the overall background tone of the interface.

Your selection is instantly reflected in the preview, so try a few and see which one feels right.

Texture Opacity

After choosing a color theme, use the texture opacity slider to control how much the color shows through the interface.

  • Lower opacity makes the color texture more vivid.

  • Higher opacity makes it more subtle.

Custom Space Colors

You can now assign any color to a Space beyond the preset options.

Use the custom color picker to choose exactly the color you want. Right-click a Space to access the picker. Colors you've used before are saved in the Recently Used Colors section for quick reuse.

FAQ

  1. Are theme settings synced across all devices? Theme, color theme, and texture opacity settings apply to web and desktop apps only. They are not currently synced to the mobile app. Space colors are synced across all devices.

  2. How does Auto mode decide which theme to use? It follows your device's system Dark/Light mode setting.

  3. Does changing the color theme affect my Space colors? No. The color theme controls the overall interface background. Space colors are set individually per Space and remain unchanged.
