Analytics helps you understand not just what you plan, but how you actually spend your time in Arch Calendar.
What is Analytics?
Analytics transforms your calendar blocks into insights. Instead of looking at individual blocks one by one, you can spot patterns such as when you are most active, who you meet with most often, and how your time is distributed across different areas of your life.
Accessing Analytics
Analytics is available as a separate page from your main Calendar view. You can access it from the navigation menu.
Choosing your time period
You can customize the time period for your analytics to see insights that matter most to you. Select different date ranges to compare how your time usage changes over weeks, months, or custom periods. Each view also shows percentage changes compared to the previous period.
Understanding your Analytics dashboard
The Analytics dashboard shows five key views of your time.
1. Schedule Types
See how your time splits between Tasks and Events. This view shows:
Total time and block count for each type
Percentage change compared to the previous period
A visual breakdown of your schedule composition
2. Meeting Insights
Understand your collaboration patterns:
Total time spent in meetings
Number of meeting participants
A ranked list of who you meet with most frequently
3. Focus Time
A line chart reveals when you are most active throughout the day:
Hour by hour activity distribution
Your peak hour highlighted
Patterns in your daily activity over time
4. Most Focused Day
A weekly heatmap shows your focus intensity:
A breakdown by day and time slot
See intensity patterns across your week
Identify time windows that tend to be most active or most quiet
5. Spaces
See how your time distributes across different Spaces:
Donut chart visualization
Percentage breakdown for each Space
Change rate compared to the previous period
Using Analytics effectively

Identify when you are most active and plan important work accordingly
Balance meeting time with focused work time
Ensure you are allocating time to your priorities using Spaces
