How to Use Task Sorting Features?

Inbox is a space for tasks you'll do later, while Today is where you record and review tasks for today. Simply recording tasks isn't enough—organizing them in a visually clear way is essential. For example, you might want to view high-priority tasks first or see tasks grouped by specific spaces. The sorting feature lets you keep your tasks neatly organized.
Create your own personalized way of viewing tasks with sorting options.
Inbox Sorting
Inbox offers 5 sorting options.
Manual (default): You can manually adjust the order, and new tasks are created at the top. The same order is maintained across all platforms, and you can add Dividers to organize tasks.
Oldest: Sorts in ascending order by creation date. Older tasks appear at the top.
Title: Sorts alphabetically.
Priority: Sorts by priority level (High → Medium → Low).
Space: Sorts in the same order as the Space sidebar. Archived spaces are positioned below In progress and sorted in descending order by update date.
In sorting modes (except Manual), tasks are automatically sorted, so you cannot manually change the order. New tasks are automatically placed according to the selected sorting criteria. For example, if you add a task with No space while in Space sorting mode, it will be automatically added to the No space section.
Dividers are not displayed in sorting modes and cannot be added. Dividers are only available in Manual mode.
Today Sorting
In Today, the Overdue and Today areas are sorted independently, managed together with a single sorting setting.
Overdue
Earliest (default): Sorts in ascending order by start date. Older incomplete tasks appear at the top so you don't miss them.
Additional sorting options: You can also sort by Title, Space, or Priority.
The Overdue area automatically appears when there are overdue tasks and is hidden when there are 0 tasks. You can also collapse and expand the list with a toggle button.
Today
Earliest (default): Sorts in ascending order by start time. All-day tasks appear first, followed by tasks in chronological order.
Additional sorting options: You can also sort by Title, Space, or Priority.
When you add new tasks in sorting mode, they are automatically placed according to the selected criteria. For example, if you have tasks at All-day, 3pm, 4pm, and 5pm, and you add a task at 2pm, they will be arranged as All-day, 2pm, 3pm, 4pm, 5pm.
In sorting modes, you cannot manually change the order in both Overdue and Today areas, and cannot add Dividers. Switching to Default (Manual) mode re-enables manual sorting and Divider usage.
