What is a Primary Space?

Every time you created a block in Inbox or Calendar, you had to pick a Space. If you always reach for the same one, that's a lot of unnecessary clicks.

Now, set a Primary Space and every new block you create in Inbox or Calendar is automatically assigned to it.

How to set a Primary Space

1. Right-click any Space in the sidebar.

2. Click Set as primary.

That's all it takes. From now on, whenever you add a task in Inbox or create a block in Calendar, your Primary Space is applied automatically — no extra selection needed.

How to change your Primary Space

Simply right-click a different Space and select Set as primary again. The new one replaces the previous setting.

When is this useful?

• If you mainly work within one Space, this saves you from picking it every single time.

• You can still change the Space on any block after creating it, so nothing is locked in.
