How do I use Desktop Quick Capture?

Desktop Quick Capture lets you capture tasks and ideas instantly — without switching context.

Open Quick Capture from anywhere

On desktop, you can open Quick Capture using a global shortcut.

Option + Space

Type what’s on your mind, then press Enter to add it.

Choose a Space while you capture

You can decide where the item belongs right as you capture it.

• Use ↑ / ↓ to move through your Spaces

• Press Enter to add the item to the selected Space

This way, you can capture the moment it comes up — and stay in flow.

When this is most useful

Quick Capture is especially helpful when:

• an idea shows up mid-task

• you’re in a meeting and need to record a follow-up

• you want to log something quickly and return immediately
